I bought this in May, used it in July and all was fine. In August it stopped cooling. No matter what Temperature or level I put it on. It has been checked, filter is fine, it just stopped working! Total waste of money!

I purchased two different ac units at the same time. Both Frigidaire. Love the larger one in our living room. Smaller one in the bedroom never worked right. Only produces cold air on MAX. Anything less and it's a fan. Besides that, it's very noisy on Low speed. Can't sleep with it on low, which is why I purchased it. Contacted Frigidaire and was told to bring it to a service center in Vancouver. Don't have time nor do I have any interest in driving to Vancouver multiple times. Currently looking for a new ac to replace this unit, but will research support a bit closer.

Bought this a little less than one year ago online from Walmart. Worked fine for the summer months. I stored this unit as suggested in the manual. I recently mounted again for 2nd season. Filter is cleaned, settings are set to the highest cool air possible. There is no cool air cooling my bedroom where AC is located. Today was about 80 degrees outside and no cool air!...This is a relatively new purchase! Needless to say, I am rather frustrated and hot. Having a fixed income, there is usually little room for product errors!

I bought this AC last year. From the beginning, only one side of the AC would blow air out. The other side did not blow out much of anything. I've had this unit for 1 year and now, the low and medium settings for both AC and Fan don't work. Only the high AC and high Fan settings work.

i like this item because the 8000 BTU model fits in the same cutout space as the 5000 BTU model which saved me a lot of remodelling inconvenience. I've owned several frigidaire portable A/C's over the years and i find that the cleaner you keep them and keep the inside mold levels low then the longer they last. They always last about 3 years or sometimes longer. I install a foam/fiber flexible 1/4 inch commercial type filter pad on top of the existing plastic rigid filter sieve so I have something i can take out and wash clean every few weeks. The item is noisy but not more noisy than other window type units. It weighs 50 lbs so i person can handle it.

I have a home made work shop where I spend a great deal of my time doing projects and repairs for friends and family, however my shop is a bit warm and humid during summer because of all my power tools. I searched by price and spec's for a small yet powerful enough air conditioner. I am certainly glad that I purchased this little Frigidaire gem. It is easy to use and provides more than enough cooling for my 12'/20' shop. Like all of my Frigidaire products it is efficient and dependable. IT IS JUST RIGHT!

This unit is a workhorse, cooling an 12x24™™ Florida room with outside temps in the 90™™s! So easy to install and came with the window accordions also. This unit is easy to use and a super great value. It™™s 8000 btu and replaced a 12000 !!

Compact unit, easy to install. Works like a charm. Exceeds expectations for cooling. A little on the noisy side but not annoying. Very efficient, high EER. Compact and lightweight. Simple manual controls, no frills. One piece install. No "out of case" installation.

Bought this item and am so satisfied with its results. Fit's great in my window and is quite compared to my old unit that had less BTU's.I like its simple style and that it is simple to use.I mostly keep it on "Low Cool" and that keeps my room cold enough during Hot Texas Weather!

It does cool my small livingroom and lowers the humidity,which is why I bought it. We usually don't Have HHH summers in Maine so use is minimal. That is a good thing because I found it to be louder than I care for.

I bought this during a heatwave, there were literally no air conditioners left in any of our stores. I bought it online with free shipping overnight. Best idea I ever had. It works great. It kept us comfortable during the hottest summer I can ever remember. It does need to be angled properly to drain. It started to make a funky noise and collecting water. But after an adjustment it was fine.

It's cool keeps my 350 sq ft-living room very comfortable. But, it has a cracking-like noise from the back, specially after rain ( I did not turn it on while raining). I returned the same model to Walmart twice because of damage on the front control panel and two corners of the back with dusty entirely. I doubt how the damage comes out, by delivery or by warehouse?

I purchased this Brand as I have a smaller unit in office that works great. I needed more in bedroom so went for the 8000 BTU. Unit works well in cooling, but VERY VERY loud. Whether it is low or high, fan or cooling, just cant sleep very well with unit.... tried swapping with office one, but when on conference calls, people cn hear the noise and change overs

I bought this unit about a month ago to replace a 5,000 BTU GE window air conditioner. This one works well beyond my expectations, it cools a 16x16 room down quickly and keeps it cool. The only drawback for me is when the compressor stops the fan continues to blow air unless turned off manually.

My husband and I(67 + 65) years old never had an air conditioner but decided this year was the to cool off our mobile home . We bought an air conditioner, installed it and were not happy. Didn't seem very cooling. The next day we turned it on and it blew our beakers. Electrician told us condensed was no good so we took it out of window, boxed it up and returned to get our moneyt back. I then went online and got my Frigidaire. Installed it as soon as it was delivered. Excellent! Now we are two very happy old people .thank you for a great product

I purchased this window unit for a 350 sq ft family room. We have had another unit for years but still couldn't use the room in the summer heat of Sacramento,CA area. This has been the hottest summer and the Frigidaire unit worked perfect! We can actually sit in our family room ! It is a bigger unit than we had before but it has lowered our electric bill! So glad we bought it!

i needed a kitchen a/c unit that was a low profile to fit a kitchen window . this unit was perfect . the only down side was a dent in the top by the condenser but didn™™t damage it . called customer service . the damage was noted for warrantee

We love our new unit. It is small, lite, and easy to manage. Our last air conditioner was so heavy we did not install it last year. We live in a small home and this Frigidaire cools the whole lower level. I wish we would have had one like this before. Most likely will be purchasing another for the upstairs bedroom.

I've had this about a year. Our high class geothermal system is prone to breaking down at the worst of times. I've very picky about noise, and expect too much, or I'd give this 5 stars. Its nice and cold, and is cooling an area much bigger than its designed for, yet getting the job done. I'm in Oklahoma, and we got the heat.It has a little rattle in the works, but its not bad at all. I'd sure recommend to someone who needs something in a fix that is small, but does a big job.

I bought this unit about 6 weeks ago and installed it in my one car garage. It does a pretty good job but doesn't get as cool in the garage as I would like. In all fairness, it IS an older home. Perhaps I should have gone to a larger unit.....say 10kBTU. Overall, it does a good job though.
