I bought this less than a year ago and it stopped working. Although it turns on and makes the sound it should, the temperature does not get cool anymore, regardless of the settings and how clean the filter is. I would like a refund because it is completely useless and I need to get a new air conditioner as a result.

Landlords bought this as a small individual room unit to supplement our swamp cooler unit in the summer... we put it in our bedroom and have actually kept it on low because it works so well! Love it!

I got this AC unit to use with my pop up camper. Since it has been winter, I haven't used it with the camper yet. I did plug it in to my 2200 Watt generator running on economy mode. The generator never had to speed up to keep up with the air conditioner. From what I was told, this AC unit has a high capacity startup capacitor which makes it not put a heavy load on the power source. Perfect for use with a generator. Seems to be well made. We'll see after this summer at Sturgis.

I bought this unit in May and for the majority of the summer, it worked great. Was only using it at night to keep my room cool. By early September, it had died. Thankfully, it was covered by the manufacturer's 1-year warranty. The warranty process was relatively painless (as those things go) and I received a replacement unit within 2 weeks. With that said, there's no reason why the unit should have died within 4 months of light use. Am hoping the replacement gets me through next summer. Not holding my breath for a functional unit beyond that time period

So far so good I would turn on my A/C when the days were very hot leaving for work in the am... I'll come home and it'll have my apartment nice and cool at times it will be to cold I'll have to turn the notch down a tad bit I haven't had any problems with this A/C unit hopefully it will last for a few years

I bought this for my 130 sq.ft. BR in an older apt. bldg. and it does a nice job. I appreciate its simplicity of design and function. It's a bit noisy but I don't fault it given its size and value for the money. Have only had it for two months so can't attest to its durability. (I've owned two or three Frigidaire dehumidifiers over the years and know that condensers in general are notorious for short life.) Easy to install.

We have an older home and centeral air doesn't cool the upstairs bed rooms well. We bought two units and they work well for helping cool bedrooms so you can sleep. Some reviews on Amazon complain about noise but I would say they are average. Have used them for 3 months. We like that there are no digital numbers that add light to the room when you sleep.

We bought this conditioner in May of this year. We noticed in July that when we would turn it on, it would make a gargling noise, but then as it ran it would stop. Looked into it, and for some reason this seems to happen with this make and model. By the end of July we noticed that even with the air conditioner on high the room wasn't getting cooled. So we called the customer service line, and talked with a representative, who walked us through the procedure to have the air conditioner replaced. The representative that we talked to assured us that we would be getting the same make and model. We chose this particular model because it was light enough to put in our apartment window without any issues. When the new model came the first thing we noticed was that it was significantly heavier than our previous one, and that is a problem because we can't put it in our window without it ripping out the window frame. We called back to customer service, and after waiting on line for 20 minutes to speak with someone, the representative whom we talked to told us there was nothing she would be able to do, she would have to send it over to a review board and they would get back to us within 24-48 hours. Well its been four days and not one person has contacted up regarding this air conditioner. Beyond disappointed, such a waste of time and energy. We will never buy an air conditioner from this company again. This is a rip off, we have had this product less than three months, and nothing. No thank you!!!

I got this ac on June 28th, and it works great in my studio apartment. Sometimes it gets too cold and I have to turn it down, the fan also works well at circulating the air. Basic functions sometimes the old fashioned ways are the best!

I have had this product for a few years,however have been trying to find the drip pan or outside plug to this AC because it sounds like a waterfall in my room! Have tipped the AC backwards to drain outside,still isnt draining! Have looked up everything about this product online to help locate drip pan or plug to no avail! Dont buy an AC unless u can easily find this parts,Fridgidaire hides them!

Bought 3 months ago, and has been leaking continuous inside window and wall. I had it check to make sure it was installed properly and it was tilted backwards so it should have ran down the outside, yet it continued leaking inside! Reached out to customer service and they were no help at all. I hauled this junk to the dump and will not use this brand again! Dont buy!

I bought not one but two of these A/C units from Amazon. After running them for approx. 30 minutes, both bedrooms felt like an ice box. That's how an air conditioner is supposed to work!! I almost feel like wearing a sweater in June, lol. Frigidaire is a great name so I don't doubt I'll be happy with my purchase for a good long time.

This is a nice air conditioner. Except there is no way to direct the air. I have turned the knob in the center of the air conditioner. It makes no difference. Also, there is no way to move the air up or down. So, it freezes my head at night. When I go to bed.

This is a nice air conditioner it cools down most of my upstairs. My concern is the temperature knob doesn't really do anything unless it's on 7 max cool. Every other temperature setting seems to kick the compressor off so it's basically acting as the fan setting. So either you'll wake up in a freezer or an oven. Luckily I love the cold. You're probably better off getting one with a temperature sensor.

I bought this during quite a heat wave in July. I have a small living room I wanted to sit in and be comfortable. This is very good for that job. It even projected some cooler air into the other rooms, not a lot but more than expect.

Thermostat keeps room at desired temperature. I'm satisfied the unit will provide years of reliable service. My only gripe is that there's no "energy saver" mode to turn the fan off when the compressor is not running.

Let me give you some background information. I moved to New York into an apartment without central a/c, which apparently is normal for a New York City apartment. I was without any a/c or a fan for the first week in August sweating my butt off and waking up in a puddle of sweat. I decided to buy an a/c and given my small budget I saw this one on amazon for an affordable price. I received it in a couple of days through amazon prime. The installation was easy and straightforward and simple to use. Took maybe 5-10 min for this unit to cool down my 80 sq ft room. I recommend this product for anyone with a small room.

Purchased this unit to get us through the record heat this summer and it worked like a charm. We love the manual operation which is less likely to malfunction than an electronic version. We have owned Frigidaire AC units for 23 years. Performance has always been tops. We just retired two 5,000 BTU units after 23 years of service. Hard to beat that kind of performance.
