I love this freezer! I don't even have the temperature turned to the coldest setting. It is barely midway. My groceries are beautifully frozen. In my old freezer, my Hawaiian punch would not freeze. In this freezer within 2 hours I get the slushie texture I love!

I bought this when my Frigidaire Upright stopped working after 20 years of completely trouble free service. I bought this smaller one since the upright had not been full for the last few years. The new one works great, very good seals, as once you open and close it reopening has to wait a few minutes to get back in. My only concern was the open panel area on the lower rear right. I bought this on line without seeing any pictures. Finally found some and the open area is normal.

This was picked up to give me a little more storage space in my apartment. Fits pretty well overall and has so far performed very well. Only downside would be the noise it occasionally makes, but you don't notice it unless you're in the same room.

We've had this chest freezer for about a month and so far, so good. It has already accumulated some frost at top around the lid, but I assume this is normal. I ordered this sight unseen because it wasn't available in store, but I knew this was approximately the size we wanted and was familiar with the Frigidaire brand. My only complaint is that it doesn't come with more dividers so that food isn't just stacked on top of itself making it difficult to find things. We store it in the basement so I can't attest to how well it does in a garage.

Seems to be functioning well which is the main item to review; however, we do have a complaint. Once you open and close the freezer door, you can™™t open the unit again for about five minutes. Is not a huge deal now that we know this is not unusual (by talking to friends) but no one at the appliance store told us this might happen and we could find nothing in the instruction manual. A heads up would have been helpful.

This is the second Frigidaire chest that I own (the first purchased about 8 years ago), I now have a pair, one in the kitchen and the new one in the basement.I always seemed to fill up the first one, figured a pair would best suit my needs.So far, no problems at all and both store food at -5 to -12 degrees.I do not even have to defrost that often, maybe once every 2 years, so manual defrost works well for me.

This freezer is the perfect size for my decreasing family. I like to take advantage of food sales and use a food saver to keep foods fresh when frozen. My only complaint is the inability to purchase extra hanging baskets from Frigadare. I was able to purchase 2 that I was able to cut and adapt to fit. These extra baskets make the use of freezer more practical.

We bought this to replace a freezer that was 30 years old. Our energy supplier (PECO) offered a rebate to get rid of older appliances. Installation was smooth and because it's narrower front to back we were able to get it into the basement. No more going outside to the garage to the freezer!
